Tim Tremblay Back On Podium In Fargo, Lincoln Lemieux Charges Up The Charts
Aurora, Minn. (December 15, 2014) Tim Tremblay raced to the second step on the podium at Friday night’s U.S. Air Force National outside of Fargo, North Dakota, with teammate Lincolm Lemieux securing a top five finish of his own.
Tremblay posted qualifying results of 1-2 in the the third round of AMSOIL Championship Snocross competition, confirming that he is 100% back from last season’s injury and a serious contender for the 2015 championship. On Saturday, Tremblay was making his way the front once again, when a mechanical issue sidelined him midway through the final.
Lemieux has continued to impress in his rookie season. Friday’s charge to fifth came after he dismounted at the start of the race and charged from dead last. On Saturday, Liemieux finished fourth in the main event and was closing on third place in the final laps.
The team is in a great position as we enter the holiday break, with Tremblay tied for second in points and Lemieux close behind in fourth. Our Ski-Doo snowmobiles have been outstanding all season and with more test time on the horizon we are eager to get our first win of the season very soon.
The series will take an extended holiday break and resume on January 9-10 at one of the premier venues on the tour, Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota.
