Klim USA Signs on As Official Clothing Sponsor for Scheuring Speed Sports

Rigby, ID, June 26, 2007 – Klim USA, along with GORE-TEX Fabrics, today announced that they have signed on with Scheuring Speed Sports as the team’s official clothing sponsor. This includes the F4 helmet (the most ventilated helmet), the Radium GORE-TEX boot, the PowerXross pullover, and the Free Ride pants.

Scheuring Speed Sports has a long history with snocross and has seen great success. Their successes include six ESPN X Games medals: 1 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze. This is the second highest team total in the sport’s history. They have also had at least one driver in 236 of the 238 main events of the WPSA race circuit, accounting for 96 podium finishes since the teams’ start in snocross racing. Scheuring Speed Sports has also been named "Team of the Year" multiple times.

Scheuring Speed Sports' riders include two of the top pro racers in the sport: DJ Eckstrom and Shaun Crapo. D.J. Eckstrom hails from Duluth, Minnesota and has been with the team for ten years. His contract keeps him with the team until 2010. D.J. has been named one of the “Top Ten Racers of All-time” by Sno X magazine. He ranks second in total number of podiums on the circuit and is a multiple X Games winner. In addition to his multiple wins D.J. has finished among the top three overall in nine of the past ten years as a team racer.

Shaun Crapo lives just up the road from Klim in St. Anthony, Idaho. He comes from a long line of successful snocross racers. Shaun joined the team two years. He is a Top Five Racer in the Pro Ranks. Shaun was named “Most Improved Pro Racer” for 2007-2008. Shaun has had multiple podiums finishes and wins. He was a National Semi Pro Champion before going pro three years ago.
